Been thinking about buying a handheld, Palm PC or Pocket PC for aviation use, logbook, nav and so on. Which of the two should I buy?
Any advice?

Lots of topics on this under the "search" knob...
In general:
If you want real portability and a battery that lasts beyond lunch: buy a palm device.
If you want lots of multimedia noise and movies: buy pocket pc (or a real notebook).
This is the biassed view of a satisfied palm customer.
