Adblock problems
I was using the Adblock Plus app on an android tablet. Over the past year I have noticed all sorts of minor problems and it was only when I stopped using Adblock that I found all these probs vanished. So here's a list:
Hotmail: some links affected
PPRuNe: embedded links affected, embedded YouTube sometimes blank
YouTube App: not working
Google Images: frequent browser crashes
Misc: slow loading and browser crashes
No blame for Adblock, they try their best to help, but all in all I'm accepting adverts now.
Not sure if this also applies to FF plugin or iPads.

As someone who uses FF with AdBlock, I can honestly say that I have not experienced any of the effects you have listed.
That's Win 7 with FF 27 - I don't know about android.

I have seen adblock-related issues crop up on many sites. The adblock software is very bad at determining what is an ad and what is, for instance, a graphical button on the site. Turning off adblock is a sound solution all around.

Henry, the problem is that the Adblock app has to work with many different apps so have to work on all connections, unlike the browser plugin. Depending on the Android version the Adblock app also works in different ways and in some cases has to be set up and configured manually.
