Saving pilot mail to disc.

I am a dummy. Can anybody tell me how to save "pilot mail" to my hard-drive? It seems to keep my mail on my allocated disc storage and I cannot find a way to get it to my computer.

Can you give us a clue what you are talking about? What do you mean with "pilot mail"?
