This time, the Rivetess' Skype. What the heck are they saying?

"Acer VCM.exe may not suit Skype after a certain date." (sic)

Blog says, API chat for example will cease to work.

Are they pulling the carpet out from under certain manufacturers while leaving others working?

It's an Acer add-in for Skype, to apparently unify the voice/video chat 'experience'.

Personally, i'd uninstall it anyway and let the Rivetess learn how to use Skype the Skype way (which is a little more useful in the long run).
