Google Earth won't open. I have downloaded it twice but nothing results. Have Firefox and Vista Any ideas please ?

A lot of people (including myself) have had problems with GE following a series of 'improvements'.

Opens OK for me using a similar FF and Vista set up. My installed version of GE is

7.1.1.1888 dd 12 July 2013.

I have W7,FF and GE 7.1.1.1888.

No problems

Something isn't correct with my machine then as I have just downloaded it yet again and my version says it is 7.1.1.1580

I will try again.

I have downloaded 7.1.1.2019 version and it still won't open
