I have received a helpful response from the IB admin,Brandi.

The investigation reveals that the source of the concern is a large plumbing ad,hosted in the Ukraine on this page : http://www.pprune.org/jet-blast/5259...es-insane.html

I have AdBlock installed and can't see the ad,but as soon as I went to that page, the IP blocker on Malwarebytes triggered.

Evidence if ever we need it that using third/fourth/fifth party ads is not good for the users of a Web site. To those who run Web sites stop being lazy and host the ads yourself instead of directing your users through who knows how many layers of ever dodgier ad servers. You are deliberately putting your users at risk.

Ever wonder why people block ads? Too often they're annoying and dangerous. Sorry, I won't risk compromising my computer so you can earn a few cents.
