Orientation of screen
Help!
I'm trying to sort out my daughter's laptop and the kids have obviously been playing with it 'cos the screen is on its side and orientated in portrait mode.
On start up the start up screens appear in normal landscape mode but once the home page comes up (Windows XP) it displays on its side.
I've tried all the obvious terms in "Help and Support" such as "change orientation", "change from portrait to landscape" etc etc but, as is usual with the computing world the obvious isn't obvious and it says that the terms aren't recognised and maybe I should check my spelling!!!
Any help???

Don't worry, the same happened to me recently I accidentally hit that combination of keys and ended up with the screen orientation wrong without knowing what keys I'd hit.
I tried everything I could think of. When my son came home from school he asked why I was working lying on the floor with the computer monitor on its side.
"This is all you have to do ........." he said. So simple when you know, so frustrating when you don't!
.. 'bout that beer ....... yep!
