Kernal crash
Hi.
My pc keeps going to a blue screen of death or freezing.
Often says kernel (core) crash.
Is this the final throws??
Am I right in thinking this is a memory dump failure.
Any sensible ideas or thoughts?
Besides 1. Getting ripped off by pc world or 2. Buying a mac!
Cheers all.

Could be anything, but most likely you need to be looking down the road of identifying hardware faults. But unless you've got spare memory chips and graphics cards lying around to enable you to do methodical testing, you'll need to find a friendly local repair person.
Alternatively buy a mac, you won't look back.
(Whatever you do, don't give any business to PC World !)
