Pprune opens to full-page ad
Recently, when I open Pprune, then click on, say Rumours and News, the page opens to a full-page ad - usually for pilot's courses. This only happens when I open up first thing in the morning. I'm using Chrome, but I'll try another browser tomorrow and see if the problem is replicated. Anyone else had this?

Same on IE 10
It appears that the PPRUNE.ORG URL is being hi-jacked or someone is paying a lot of money to ensure each login gets one pushed at them. (Opens in new window)
I do not think it is a browser problem - it maybe that the PPRUNE Server is compromised, but I think the latter more possible.

Yup - the same here on the latest production release of Chrome. Ad Block Plus and other measures mean I normally don't see a single advert on any website.
Edit: Hosts file updated to the latest version from MVPS and sanity has returned. The ad appears to be banished.

Defo NOT just first visit with browser, but appears to be first visit after boot. For those not following JB, it has been reported to Fisher Price House.

Well it got bloody annoying this morning. Every click on a post brought the ad page up, until I signed in.
