May I ask a general sort of question, please?

Can some kind person advise on whether the Kindle Fire HD will work Facebook, Flight Radar 24, Live ATC and some other aviation related software programmes?

Facebook runs fine on the Kindle Fire HD. The other apps you mention? Most likely not.

Have a look at the Kindle App Shop - there appears to be a paid app for Flight Radar 24 Pro - try checking the others by doing a search.
