Learning Word. A super little program.
I've delayed my ticket to the UK because of my dim brain taking so long to convert to Word 2010. Despite learning AutoCAD at home by myself, it soon became obvious I couldn't fumble my way around Word in the same way. I needed step by step help. So much becomes clear when someone shows you the minutiae.
I haven't really tested this program yet, but so far it's proved superb.

It's the silly little things that have caught me out, like the bottom slider on the ruler is a split device - and, cringe, it was the top one I wanted anyway.
Removing the Word Perfect Tabs was a challenge. Going back to WP and having Word translate the files was not an option - too much editing done in word.
It seemed that Search and replace would only accept Alphanumeric whatevers and anyway, the darn code for the insets/tabs was a mystery to me. Finally, I found the search function would allow other things, and the replace code for WP's insets ( ^t ) could be found by highlighting the offending arrow and looking into the menu. Stripped them all in the blink of an eye. So simple when you know how.
I'd spent ages deleting the darn things in one 20 page chapter.
The farce goes on - but this little program has not resolved the question in my other thread. I'll get there eventually, but right now a laptop without the bug is doing the translating.
