Paid for Utilities that actually work

There is a lot of software out there that claims to fix your PC problems - for a price. Who has experience of utilites worth paying for?

In my case, I installed Reimage after suffering a number of crashes. This Prog checks for missing or corrrupted windows files and restores them from its on line database. Worked everytime - until it didn't.

I finally found my root problem was bad RAM which I rectified, but Reimage still would not repair. This is where the subscription paid for itself. The technical support was excellent and after some e-mail exchanges and a couple of remote control from their techs, they identified a missing file that prevented Reimage from working. This was repaired online and all good again. I finally have a fully working Win 7 PC again.

Hope this is useful, any other experiences, good or bad?
