Windows 8 Video Drivers
HI all
just got a new computer and after a day changing over everything from my old computer I hope this is the last time I have to do this...
THe thing is, I can't seem to view online videos or see any video drivers.h
Now Win 8 is different to me old XP, but can anyone tell me what to look for?

it probably is a lack of Flash
If it won't install through the Adobe web page, try a direct download instead
For internet explorer
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f..._player_ax.exe
For all other browsers
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe
After you've done that, install the K-lite codec pack
Codecs.com | Downloads for K-Lite Codec Pack 9.7.5 Full, Standard and Basic
go for the 9.7.5 full version and do a "standard installation without media player"

Why do you think they're some of the richest people in the world? Because folk like US keep buying this CRAP!

Remember when you had time to fill that didn't involve computers??

right on stumpy
I kind of felt fatalistic when I wrote that.
I'd keep XP if I could but it isn't supported anymore and my old tower was eight years old and couldn't go any faster.
Thanks for your links too Milo... but the machine now tells me I have the latest Adobe player, but still no result on the online stuff???
