I.E.* problem

Every time I open the browser a second tab opens with Easy Computing in it.
This is beginning to annoy me, and closing the tab only results in it reappearing the next time I open the browser. How can i prevent this?
It's not selected as opening page BTW.

No, that's set for Google. It opens a second tab

edited to add I think a new keyboard is also needed; the "t" key doesn't always work on this.

Lon, go to the Internet Options > General tab, and in the Tabs group where it says “Change how webpages are displayed in tabs”), click the Settings button. The Tabbed Browsing Settings dialog opens check “Open only the first home page when Internet Explorer starts”, it's the last option in the first group.
