One site crashing my PC

The PcReview.co.uk forum comes up often as a hit on computer problems. Only trouble is it completely locks my PC every time I visit it or the home page in Firefox. It has been submitted to Mozilla and works fine in IE. Even Task Manager is inhibited..

Anyone any ideas what could be causing this?

Try turning stuff off and reloading the page. Java, Javascript, Flash, etc.

All up-to-date. I'll try in safe

Milo - that is interesting - it is 'hanging' on a 'waiting for Google xxxx'

EDIT:Yes, ok with add-ons disabled - which one - hours of fun ahead!
EDIT 2: All stripped out, and now all back in and - it works. Don't you just love this game
