Lenovo x131e Availability?
My 10.1" Netbook screen only has 600 pixels vertically. The 11.6" laptops generally have 768 vertical pixels, thus showing the whole typical Web page. I like this size since it is still small enough to fit in my carry-on bag. I estimate that 13" laptops are too big - and they tend to be expensive "ultrabooks"..
Lenovo stopped making their X130e 11.6" laptop. They announced the x131e 11.6" replacement back in June. The x130e / x131e also come with the Pro version of the operating system.
As far as I can tell, the x131e has not yet reached any US sellers. Does anyone have more information? Has the product died before actual release?
Thanks, seacue

The products are in the education range. I assume they have enough contract sales such that the products have limited availability on the open market.
If you look at the specs, there are better Lenovo products at the same or lower pricing points.

I suppose that I am stupid, but I haven't found suitable "lesser" Lenovo products. Please suggest a type number.
I find the S-206, but it has a much slower processor, less RAM, Home Premium rather than Pro Op Sys, less battery life, no VGA port, 2 vs 3 USB ports, etc.
That doesn't impress me favorably.
