Windows.old delete?
Had reason to re install Windows a few weeks back (did summat wrong trying to delete avast anti virus and it kicked me arse) anyway new instal went fine and machine all tickety boo, however ran Malware bytes last night, used to take about 25 minutes for a full scan now it takes twice as long because it also scans windows.old which I assume if my original windows installation that has been kept.
Question ?could I delete Windows old or is there some reason I should hang onto the buggah?
I'm not short of hard disk space,so should I just leave it alone?
Running windows 7 64 bit.

It contains copies of all your files such as 'my documents', 'my pictures', 'my music' also drivers etc. so copy it to a DVD and then copy across into your current libraries anything you want to keep, then you can delete it or move it to another drive.

Thanks anyway.
