Secure Connection Failed

is the message I'm getting when I start up Firefox. It's connected to an outfit called kallout, and apparently their security certificate expired today.

It appears to be an addon to FF that I must have asked for and been using, but when I looked for it under Tools it wasn't listed with the other stuff. I can live with this message for a while, but what if it doesn't go away?

Seems to be a search enhancement tool - but not neccesarily under that name

see KallOut - Search Outside the Box
and
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...-faster-in-fi/

So you may need to remove it using add/remove progs, or it could be listed as "searchmenu" or similar among your addons and extensions

Hmmmm they don't update things very quickly do they:

System Requirements
- Windows Vista or XP
- Microsoft Office 2003/2007
- IE6, IE7 or Firefox
- Broadband Internet Recommeded

Windows 7 not even mentioned, security certificate expired, best to dump it now, as Milo says it's probably in add/remove progs.

Thanks for the pointer, Milo ! It's part of Fast Video Download which should uninstall next time I start FF.
