Tip - Getting rid of ITunes Store memory

I do my best to keep my pc clear of cookies. M/S 7/64. I use FF and it deletes cookies each time I turn it off. Every now and then I tell it to tools/options/privacy/clear all current history. At least once a week, ccleaner runs to get rid of whatever firefox forgets to dump.
However, whenever I start up Itunes and go to the store, it knows who I am and knows my name, and e-mail.

I googled this problem, and it appears that if you do not "sign out" from the store - (not a natural step, IMHO), then the Store will remember you.
I'd only gone to the store to get album artwork. It is sneaky of them to remember my pc!!
Bloody cheek.
I post this here as a tip from a non-techie to anyone else that might want to know.

Supercookies maybe. Damned hard to remove

for Firefox try these two addons together. Install BOTH

BetterPrivacy
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...dl-mostpopular

Ghostery
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...dl-mostpopular

both need a few boxes ticking after installation, but together they should remove any supercookies

Much harder in IE...

I can certainly vouch for Milo's recommendation of BetterPrivacy - kills LSOs very well!

The trick though is sorting out which ones to keep.
