Legalities regarding sharing files

Hi,

I am working on a new content website...

This might sound like a silly question but what are the legalities concerning to sharing things like FCOMs and FCTMs and CBTs, etc ??

Couldn't spot it in any of the documentation...

One word.... copyright.

Put yourself in their shoes. Would you seriously be happy to let all that content you've spent time developing, maintaining and refining be put online by someone else without some form of financial recompense.

Do the right thing, contact them and talk about licensing their content.

I wouldn't be. Just wondering what all might they let us share and what all they wouldn't.

There are lotta sites that do share things they shouldn't. Legally.

eg smartcockpit, etc.

Yes there are ways and means without having to pay out yer
hard-earned money to some monolithic corporation, but if I
explain here my post will be instantly deleted and I'll cop a
50 year ban.

Alternatively you could probably just add a link to your site
eg smartcockpit who I wouldn't expect to have a battery of
lawyers whose sole aim is to make you penniless.
