Actually it was me that deduced this.

Senior Pilot kindly confirmed my hypothesis by posting a "blank" from an iphone app. as I don't have a smartphone / IPad.

1) these posts started just 3 days after the PPRuNe Android and iOS mobile apps were announced.
2) many of these posts have been deleted by the "authors".
3) One user actually gives the reason for deleting as "Accidental post from app".

Thanks, guys. "Add content" is caused by members writing blank posts (accidentally, presumably) on outdated versions of the PPRuNe mobile app. If clearly legit members are making "Add content" posts, you'll want to remind them to upgrade to the latest version.
sonsama91 may or may not be legit, but I have sent him/her a mobile app upgrade reminder just in case. We've taken care of Nancy00.
