PPRuNe Down!

PPruNe managed to crash today for over an hour between 10:15 and 11:20!

Is it time perhaps for Internet Brands to invest in a bigger server?

Yes, it did. And it is a measure of how pathetically addicted we all are to PPRuNe that one sat that trying over and over again to log in, for the entire time it was out.

I bet I'm not the only one.

And everytime you tried to log in you reset the server and stopped it booting.

One's knowledge of computrikery is small, but somehow I would have a hard time accepting that users attempts to log-in would disable the main server from it's business of re-setting...

As I kept trying to log in I said to myself one of the definitions of lunacy is: " to keep repeating an action expecting a different outcome".
