Seem unable to access a few sites today from any computers (BBC, Orange, X-C Weather for instance to name a few) any idea's? Glad PPRUNE is OK

Sounds like big brother has taken a disliking to your internet activities.

On a more serious note, check your DNS settings. Perhaps try changing them to Google (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) or OpenDnS (208.67.222.222/208.67.220.220).

There was (apparently, unless it was our whitelabelling ISP making excuses) a major outage from BTWholesale today from 12 till 2pm.

Sounds like a bit of an excuse....

But then anyone I know has been advised to stay away from BT based broadband and generally accepted my recommendation....
