Unable to find pprune website

Haven't been able to bring up pprune website all w/e nor this am. Kept defaulting to google search for pprune. If I tried from google search it went to some obscure pages. Thought it was affecting everyone but that doesn't appear to be the case. Tried again just now and the website came up in the normal manner, so what happened?
My OS is win 7

Please explain, in detail, your process for "normally" trying to "bring up" the website?

The pprune website is on my 'favourites' list. I just click on it and up it comes. On Sat morn. however, when I tried, it went into 'connecting' for a while then a google search page came up with various pprune website threads listed. When I tried to open one of these up came a list of totally unconnected websites. This happened all over the w/e. I even tried going to Internet Brands (the owners) and logging on from there, with the same result. All my other websites worked in the normal manner

Might have been a DNS issue at your provider
Might also be a browser redirect issue on your PC (either via a problem with an existing proxy or via a virus).

Can you keep an eye on it and see if it reoccurs? If not, then it's probably the former. Otherwise we'll try and sort the latter.

Make a note of PPRuNe's IP address 98.158.194.181 and try it if you have the same problem again.
