iTunes account setup - tel no

I'm trying to set up an iTunes account and it accepts name,
address etc, but it refuses my tel no saying I must include a
3 digit tel number.

I've tried every possible combination of numbers but no joy.

Any suggestions as to what format they're after guys?

Thanks.

I dont use Itunes, so this is a guess. Could it be that Itunes want the phone number in groups of three?? IE. 123 456 678

Maybe the country and area code needs to be three digits, followed by the rest of the number.

Eg, my ISD code is 644. The remainder of the no. is seven digits, so there's no way it can be entered as blocks of three.

Works if you happen to have a three-digit ISD code....

Is it something about where you live? I have an expensive-tunes account, and have had no such requirement placed on me.

Put in leading zeros to make up the right number of digits?

My number is +xxx xxxxxxxx (in SE Asia)

I've tried all combinations -

+xxx xxxxxxxx

xxx xxxxxxxx

+xx x xxxxxxxx

+xxx xxxx xxxx

+xx x xxxxxxxx

+xx x xxxx xxxx

0xxx xxxxxxxx (and combos of that etc)

Thanks anyway.

Enter it without any spaces perhaps?

I've found when entering numbers into online forms the spaces are not usually required.

It's been a while since I set mine up, but doesn't the format follow the standard format used in the country you select?

(i.e. check what country you have set)
