Is it possible to record from iPlayer?

Probably a daft question but I can't see a way of doing it.

Am I missing anything?

If it's just sound .. as in using iplayer for radio .. then yes.

A handy little program called freecorder does the job

If it's the new fangled telly stuff you want to record then I'm not sure

Yes, you can.

Read THIS first.

Windows and Linux link HERE.

All above board, nothing naughty.

Record a programme and watch within 30 days or so, to comply with the spirit of iPlayer, then delete.

It's possible to convert the mp4, using available progs, if you need to move the formats about to a different machine for viewing later.

PM if unsure.

anything that's shown on iplayer, is normally up on the various bittorrent sites in better quality within a few minutes anyway - much less fiddly than trying to record live streams
