We have a greedy pig in our neighborhood.
Someone on TalkTalk is popping up on inSSIDer with a vast channel width.
Sometimes they span the usual 3 or so, but then the line pops across to a point minus 3 to plus 7 or so. Never seen it before.
Can't tell the nice man at the post office anymore, and I don't know if TT would care.

I guess something like that must be happening, but what an odd way to divi up the spectrum.

Yes that'll be 802.11n and it's the only way (when used with AES or no encryption) to get the full 300mbit/s throughput. I've deployed a bunch of them.
