Boring, irrelevent. A section on flight simulators yesterday I thought would be interesting. Instead of talking about ones for home computers they visited some guy who built a beautiful 747 sim full size, in his house (I have admiration for him but I'm not going to go that far) and a real BA simulator used to train aircrew.
Quite like one of the presenters though
She is a cutie. I'd give her a cookie or two

What makes you chaps assume you are the audience they are addressing???
We get this time & time again, any slight departure from the absolute accuracy of a cockpit in a movie is seized upon by people on Pprune as evidence of moral decline, the last days of Rome and a disgusting waste of licence payers money!
It's a short strand on a news show with an audience in the millions. It's a broad brush look at technology, there are any number of specialist magazines, websites and doowhackys for you experts! Jeez, you bunch of professional moaners - lighten up already!!

Parapunter,
Fair enough, although I don't watch the programme anymore, so doesn't bother me.
The media coverage of aviation is generally speaking very, very poor.
Anyhow, what's the point of PPRuNe if one can't be permitted the occasional rant ?

She REALLY makes that Vogue model look UGLY!
(Must pay more attention next time she's on).
I only watch the programme because its on, and by that time of night (Morning) I've got fed up of choosing from all the Yankee crap thats on. (Whilst perusing PPRuNe of course).

OFSO (breathing heavily): all I meant was - that in a program aimed at computer owners and supposed to be about flight simulators, I expected to find a review of flight simulators which could be used by computer owners, not by budding BA aircrew.
Oh well, back to "Dad's Army".
Oh well, back to "Dad's Army".
Well why didn't you say so in the first place ? Didn't give us much of a chance. As a previous ranter said, it's aimed at the more cautious type of users, not us computer gods.
