Reply-to-thread problem
Am operating Firefox 3.6.13 on XP.
While I can type and make posts ok, I can't seem to get the
bottom line action buttons to work, namely - B, I, U, Insert
link, Insert Image, etc. Fonts and Sizes working ok but can't
get color menu to work, as well as all the smilies.
Tried searching all FF and PPRuNe Options but no joy. Anyone
else experiencing same?
Thanks in advance.

Are you using NoScript? if so check the permissions or temporally disable it, there is a problem with the latest version.
From a post on the 2nd July: "There appears to be a problem with No Script V2.1.2rc2, it is preventing me from interacting with some sites that were ok before the update yesterday. Been through and checked all the settings they're all ok."

Testing testing
and all the buttons work.
No joy with Firefox, and yep I see all the buttons on FF.
FF Error console shows these -
Error: vBmenu is undefined

Line: 162
Error: vBulletin is undefined

Hadn't done any FF upgrading so its a bit of a surprise as to
the cause. Been like this a couple of days. Dunno how to fix
it.

Posting with my usual FF and the buttons still don't work.
I've tried everything I know but no joy.
Does anyone think a clean unstall -> reinstall of FF might
help? I just get the feeling it might be a fruitless exercise
and still end up back at square one.
Thanks for any further advice.

AO have upgraded to 3.6.18 but again no joy.
Having to manually insert UBB codes.
GG I'll give that a go tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for all replies.

Did a complete and utter uninstall (incl registry) and reinstall
of FF and surprisingly everything's working peachy keen now!
I tried everything that you all have suggested but they didn't
make any difference. Looks like removing and reinstalling the
program is the only way to solve it, although I'm stuffed as to
why it fixed itself, since all the exact same files were loaded.
Yep BOAC, JS was enabled. That was the first thing I checked
when this problem started, and disabled all the add-ons and
plugins as GG suggested which I thought would've worked.
Anyway thanks again guys.
