JVC DVD recorder
I have just broken up a failed analogue JVD HDD recorder and now have a DVD writer and an 80gb Maxtor HDD. Does anyone know the OS/file system for the HDD please?

gg - 11 minutes - that is impressive - thanks. Opinion is that JVC have their own 'peculiar' file system, but I'll try it via Linux tomorrow in case. If not I reckon I can format and have a spare 80gb 'Maxtrash' - although I lose my recorded stuff.
