Adobe flash player W7/FF

More problems....When looking at youtube clips on IE9 no probs. On FF 4 the youtube clip screen says I need a plug in. So I download (ver 10.3.181) Fails, so I try the manual install option...No luckworked ok with ver 3** ** FF no probs playing youtube clips.

Looking at FF4 plug in list there seems no plug in for FF4 re: Flash player I even tried the download with Avast (Adobe site advice) turned off, still no joy. So what is making youtube clips viewable when using IE9?

I've recently started using the uninstaller (available on the Adobe site) and the full install file, and rebooting between each step, even though it does not indicate this is required.
Deleting the folder C\Windows\System32\Macromedia following the uninstall may help, too.
Not using Noscript with FX, are you? Relevant sites allowed?
