Pilots Pal
Hello all,
Does anyone know the status of Pilots Pal? I have been trying to get hold of them for weeks
, normally they have a very speedy response time. But its all gone very quiet of late and I am trying to swap ver to pilots pal for mac! I have sent emails, tried the phone number, filled out the contact us page and tried to register to the forum but I have not been authenticated.
Has the company folded?

Why don't you ask on their forum? PilotPal.com - free web-based pilot logbook

Found on this website, I quote :
Steve has unfortunately withdrawn support for his Pilots Pal for iPhone and is I think pretty much running Pilots Pal down as he is no longer accepting new subscriptions.

It Appears that Steve has again withdrawn Pilots Pal from the App store and is winding down again. A shame as with everyone upset with the latest Logten/Coradine pricing policy it looks like now would be a good time to have a nice simple electronic logbook on the market! MCC Pilot log say they are really busy!

You can upload your MDB or SQLite file from Pilots Pal here :
Import Wizard | mccPILOTLOG
The Helpdesk will convert the database and return a file for import into mccPILOTLOG logbook software. This conversion service and the Standard edition of mccPILOTLOG are both free, unlimited.

Hi all
have been using Pilots Pal logbook the last 12 years, now on a Mac and iPad. Both don't work any longer. On the Mac the program freezes after opening, on the iPad I lost it completely.
trying to go on the website, pilots pal.co.uk, doesn't work any longer.
Does any one have an idea, how I could recover or receive the program to reinstall it on the Mac?

bganster - I'm having the exact same issue. Re-loading the software and also going back to a previous backup database seem to have no effect. It's as if ********* has just timed out!
I've carried out no OS changes so I can't explain what has caused this to occur out of the blue.

I have used Pilots Pal since 2008, but not synced since 2010. Now I need to find a new logbook, but i cannot retrieve the thousands of hours from my phone. tried syncing with my old computer where I had Pilots Pal installed, but the program is outdated and will not sync. Is there any way I can get the data from my Iphone, so I can use it with another provider?

My Pilots Pal measures about 8"x10", has hard, blue, cardboard covers front and back, the front bearing the following message in gold letters ... Pilot's Logbook.
I haven't counted the pages tightly bound between the covers, but my first entry - by pen or indelible pencil - was in 2003 and at my present rate of aviating will probably see me through as many years as I wish, or am allowed, to aviate.
It is impervious to power outages or Internet seizures.
