Battery max charge setting

Hi all

Samsung laptop W7

Few months ago a small window popped up suggesting that if I limit my battery maximum charge to 80% this will help extend the life of battery. So I click yes.

Lately I've been using my laptop outdoors with a dongle and find the battery runs for a short time.

I want to return it's max power charge to 100%. I've had a good browse of the control panel, power options but can't find any option to restore the charge to 100%

Any ideas?

Looking briefly at the user manual you need to do it from BIOS. Shut down the computer (not standby or hibernate), then hit F2 when it boots up. Should take you to the BIOS screens, where you can adjust battery charge.
Good luck.

Thanks jimtherev

Went F2 on Samsung start screen>advanced>Battery life cycle extension>disable.

Sorted!! Many thanks for plotting my course.
