IE Favorites 'out of date'.

Sometimes I use Internet Explorer as my browser, with favourite URLs saved along the 'Favorites Bar'.
I notice that the version of the website that is opened is not the latest (unless I refresh) but a somewhat earlier version (for example PPRuNe but without the latest contributions).

Is this a 'feature' of IE8?

Me too. I assumed it was to do with cookies but it will be good to get a proper explanation.

Try this

In IE9, it is Tools/Internet Options/General tab/Browsing History/Settings

Under 'Check for newer versions of stored pages, tick 'Automatically'

I strongly suspect that IE8 may be the same.
