AOL is my ISP on windowsXP
I have 3 desktops on my PC, mine, wife, and son.
When my wife opens her desktop AOL automaticaly starts up and asks her to log on, does not happen on the other 2 desktops.
I have had a look round the obvious places ,start up settings etc .am I missing something obvious

Only a guess
Completely misread the question.
On the computer that logs in automatically, you will have the "log in automatically", or "remember me", or somesuch other box ticked?
Do your computers block all cookies?
That will be the first place to look. Not an AOL user.

Open internet explorer and make it your default browser. Or go to internet options and do it in there. That should stop the AOL browser opening.....Go to add/remove programs and remove the AOL rubbish you don't need.
That's how we did it on a friends set up not so long back....Hope it helps..

You used the AOL installation disk. Big mistake as it installs their rubbish email client and browser. As call100 says, just remove it and make something else the default programmes.
