Android Tablets and Word
Now that Android Tablets are appearing as competition for the IPad, does anybody know how Word (.doc) and Excel (.xls) can be written and read on them. Also will there be an Application that enables PC programs to be used on them. I believe there is an applicaton (WINE ?) that enables PC programs to be run on LINUX machines and I believe that ANDROID is a development of LINUX.
Thanks,
BD

Finding plenty of ways to run Android on PC but not the other way around.
Methinks you'll maybe be too restricted by the CPU, etc, to be able to run Widows but you can get apps that will remotely connect to your PC so you can do things like this:-
Run Windows 7 on Your Android Phone
Of course, if you feel totally geeky, you can run Widows 3.1 (or lower) on an Android but I don't think that's what you are looking for.
Install & Run Windows 3.1 on Android Phones with aDosBox
