BT Fon
I will shortly be working away from home 3 - 4 days a week and as a BT Internet and phone subscriber Iam considering using BT Fon via my laptop for domestic stuff, emails and Iplayer etc.
I should be able to access all of this in the area where I'll be (Newport area - according to BT most of it is a hot spot) but I wondered if anyone has any experience of the service and any pitfalls.
If it doesn't work out, are there any free alternatives?
Thanks.

I'm a Fon user, and find it very good. Since your router can be used by anyone, make sure the user-name and password are secure just in case anyone finds a way around the Fon software firewall.
