Help with setting up a simple online booking Program/Spreadsheet
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone had any advice or resources to help in setting up a simple online booking program or spreadsheet. I am working for a small charter/scenic company and up till now all our bookings have been done in one diary. This results in many phone calls to check/confirm bookings with our other booking agent and can get quite confusing.
What I would like to do is somehow setup a simple online spreadsheet or something similar that can be accessed remotely from other computers so bookings can be made and viewed through the one source. Not really sure how to go about it or if its possible so any advice or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Hiya,
Just make up a spreadsheet.
Save it on officelive then you can designate who has access to read and who can modify it.
It will be available via the internet to anyone you authorise.
Quite easy to use once you have played with it for 10 mins.
I have used it to transfer quite large documents and to run a project with 5 different authors/editors on opposite sides of the planet.
Best of all its free.
karl.

who makes the bookings? the end user /customer?
or a booking agent?
how many agents?
how many objects are being booked?
google online booking scheduling free - Google Search
It wouldnt be too hard to do one yourself or find an opensource free program you can modify and put your company branding on.

danger85,
With all due respect, you've obviously got no IT background and evidently running a company with no IT programming resource, therefore you are just trying to re-invent the wheel .... however I suspect it will only have a sad ending because of lack of experience (bugs, security and a multitude of other issues)
Sorry, but just had to interject some honest truthes....
Look around the internet, pleanty out there... a few examples (I'm not making recommendations with this list !).....
SALESFORCE.COM
Microsoft BPOS
and many others......
