Invisible e-mail text

This is weird.. For the past few weeks I've been receiving e-mails (Hotmail) that display no text ! These are random, can be from either long term contacts or new contacts arriving first into my junk mail... most mail is displayed as normal but maybe one in four just remains invisible or maybe I get to see the text for a fraction of a second before it disappears... Anyone experienced this ? Nobody I've Q'd has a clue what's causing it...

White text on a white background?

Have you tried drag-selecting the blank section of the email to see whether the words get highlighted?

If not, ISTR this question appeared here a few months ago...

If they are html rather than plain text then a graphic is most probably covering the text you see to begin with.
