AIMS on Android phone
Hi
Has anyone else experienced problems with AIMS on their Android phones?
Currently running Eclair 2.1.
Spoke with IT Dept who said that AIMS is designed only to run on Internet Explorer or Firefox browsers. However, I know that most of the iPhone community can access AIMS using Safari, so there must be a way of getting around this. I've tried downloading Fennec and Opera but neither of these work.
Look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Found one way for anyone else that is interested....?
Downloaded Skyfire browser which seems to work.
Opera and Fennec (Firefox for mobiles) along with Androids own browser wouldn't let me access. Would be interested if someone knows why this would be and if so whether something can be changed in Androids own browser settings to make it work?

6-60 plaesure - just sharing the knowledge. If you happen upon a way of getting your email Inbox to automatically recognise MS Office documents for what they are, I'd be interested. At the moment clicking on an Excel attachment merely opens the written contents in random fashion
Currently have to save them then choose a program to open it.

AIMS is a very poor piece of software. Unless being viewed with firefox or ie various entries won't be saved. However if you just want to view your roster this can be done with the android native internet app. Open the app, press menu > more > settings then un-check mobile view. Hey presto AIMs is now accessible.
