Windows XP

Is it possible to downgrade XP from SP3 to SP2 by using the add/remove page to delete the SP3 pack or will I cause problems? - the reason I need SP2 is so that I can use OEM tech manuals that won't run using SP3 (tried it - works fine on SP2)
Thanks for your help

MS is ceasing all support for WinXP SP2 in July, meaning no more security updates. Probably not wise to take it on-line after then:
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) Solution Center

Have you tried sourcing newer versions of the manuals?
