Picasa 3 video playback - no sound
Hello.
I'm running W7 64 bit and we have Picasa 3 installed. Have had no problems until last week, when for some unexplained reason the sound on our videos stopped playing - but only when using headphones.
Unplug the headphones and our 7.1 surround sound plays fine. I thought it was a headphones issue until I found that CDs play OK on the headphones, all the Windows computer sounds play OK on the headphones too, Itunes plays OK on the headphones.
If I go to the surround sound control panel and select 2.1 (stereo), the headphones start working again with Picasa. We've never had to do this before.
So in summary, all my other applications are fine with 7.1 surround sound selected and headphones plugged in. Just not Picasa!
Any ideas, anyone?
