Saving YouTube videos

Can anyone tell me how to save YouTube videos with IE8. It was simple with IE6 but I haven't managed to work out how to do it with 8.

This has been covered several times.

Put save youtube into the search function (search entire threads, search C&I forum only, any date).

Much easier to use YouTube Downloader - Software to download and convert YouTube video

FlashGot will work in FF but doesn't get the correct filename IIRC.

Just use this KeepVid: Download and save any video from Youtube, Dailymotion, Metacafe, iFilm and more!

Copy and paste URL and away you go.

This WILL raise a laugh and perhaps some derision.
I have been a member for three months and cannot find an appropriate forum to ask about this Spitfire that is being restored so am using this one.

An 'add on' called 'download helper' is very good for FireFox.

Thank you DH200. Seems this one is moving very slow. Maybe we will see it fly again.
