Extracting Images from an E-mail Archive

Anyone know of a program for extracting all the images from a large (Gb's) graphic rich e-mail archive (Thunderbird)?

What about ThunderStor? Never used it myself, but it looks like it might help.

Thanks bnt.

Looks hopeful if all the graphics were on attachments, but many of them are additionally in the mail messages as well.
