Orange Mobile Broadband Painfully Slow
I got an Orange (UK) Mobile Broadband dongle for my Dell laptop but it is very slow to download sometimes over a minute for the yahoo homepage it also keeps dropping the connection despite showing a signal strength of 96-99%.
Am I missing something in the settings somewhere ? the laptop works fine on my home wireless broadband and is as quick as my PC.

The mobile networks are creaking at the seams due to data demand, it may just be due to that. Try it at different times of the day. There is only finite capacity, and it seems that they cant keep up with demand in certain areas.
