Fedora 11
Well after a couple of days to see if the package got pulled I decided to install it.
This is on an aspire one net book.
Pressed the button and left it running over night and hey presto in the morning it wanted a reboot and.......
Multimedia is cracking the old problems with occasional staggering of DivX have now gone.
DVD playing from a disk image is like watching a DVD on a portable player.
The sound volume problem has now gone.
The low signal strength of the wireless is now gone.
Just have to get my hands on a G3 mobile dongle to see if it does work in G3 instead of GPRS without having to resort to the vodaphone abortion of a driver.
Not bad for a free operating system.
