3IX web hosting

A cautinary tale for those tempted to place web hosting with this company. They offer cheap hosting. I have 2 domains with them. One has been fine. The other, placed on a different named server, has been a disaster. Lots of down time.

Emails go unanswered. Telephone number - 'all our operators are busy'. Please leave your name and number..." Guess what? 'Live Chat' is manned by morons. E.G.

Me: Name and domain submitted: (Opening query) "My web/control panel/FTP and email is down on [email protected]"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello my name is zzz. Please wait while I review your query"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello how can I help you"
Me: "Have you reviewed my query?"
Agent: "One moment please"
Agent: "Your service is running fine. There are no problems here"
Me: " No! My web/control panel/FTP and email is down on [email protected]"
Agent: "There is a problem on our server. Our techicians are resolving it. It will be corrected shortly"
Me: "What is the problem please? This is the umptydump time it has happened."
Agent: "There is a problem on our server. Our techicians are resolving it. It will be corrected shortly"
Me: "I wish to speak to a supervisor please"
Agent: "One moment please".............................
LIVE CHAT TIMES OUT

Me: Name and domain submitted: (Opening query) "I wish to speak to a supervisor please"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello my name is zzz. (YES, THE SAME!) Please wait while I review your query"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello how can I help you"
Me: "Have you reviewed my query?"
Agent: "One moment please"
Supervisor: "Hello my name is QQQ" How can I help?"
ME - patient repeat of above.
Sup: "One moment please"..........
LIVE CHAT TIMES OUT

Me: Name and domain submitted: (Opening query) "I wish to speak to a supervisor again please. I was speaking to QQQ but Chat timed ouit"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello my name is zzz. (YES, THE SAME!) Please wait while I review your query"
A few minutes later
Agent: "Hello how can I help you"
Me: "Have you reviewed my query?"
Agent: "One moment please"
Sup: ""Hello my name is QQQ(YES, THE SAME!) How can I help you?"
Me: "We spoke 5 minutes ago - you were reviewing my query. It is about your poor server performance"
Sup: "One moment please".................................
LIVE CHAT TIMES OUT

At this point I gave up.

Be warned. Luckily No 1 son is now 'reselling' a very good hosting package. Guess who is getting my business?
