And faster it is.
Some add-ons will have to wait for an update. Time will tell which sites need those add-ons, but in the mean time the speed wins for me.

I had two add-ons incompatible, nothing essential. It found updates for NoScript and AdBlock Plus straight away, which are the main ones that make the web usable again.

Been running beta 4 of 3.5 for a while now it's good and fast and works on most sites, for those that it doesn't work on the IE Tab add on is available.

Excuse the question, but I don't understand what you mean by "add-ons": like anti-virus, certain web sites, or etc??
Thanks,
Bob.

Bob,

Firefox has additional functionality provided by 3rd-party suppliers outside of the mozilla team. These plug-ins are called "add-ons".

There's an add-ons item under the Tools menu item in FF.

Just installed it (on a work PC of course ) and it's zooming along quite nicely - in fact it loads a lot quicker and it feels like websites are loading faster too (which is amazing considering our lack of available bandwidth).

Well done FF.

Only add-on issue was with tab mix plus - but fixed that with the developer version of it. Happy days.

Add ons - Firefox ver 3.5

At the time of writing; the Norton 2009 add ons for firefox 3.are incompatable with ver 3.5 and don't work.. This may change, I hope. Otherwise the application works fine for me. (I'm on XP3 -SP3 three units and Ubuntu 9.04 No Norton on that M/C ).

Downloaded 3.5 yesterday, the only noticeable 'gripe' is that it seems to take longer to load from initial 'click on'
