Cameras from the flight deck

I currently have a Samsung Digimax i7 and the pictures it's been taking from the flight deck come out very blue (not that surprising really). I've adjusted the picture to take slightly redder pictures and i'll see how that works.

Anyways, I really do enjoy taking piccies of things i see from the flight deck, and so am thinking of upgrading to something that takes better pictures. Only problem is that the ideal (a digital SLR) is far to big to be practical for my flight case.

So the question is what's a good camera for the flight bag?

Sounds as though you need the good old fashioned UV filter to cut down on the blue cast. Trouble with the compacts is getting filters to fit them. to remove blue you need to increase yellow a small amount, best done in the processing stage on a PC.
If you post one of the pictures here so we can see the problem we might be able to give you a better Idea.
