USB TV stick oddity
Bought it a few weeks ago and all was fine until it started reporting "The current device is not consistent with what you previously configured". (from subsequent investigations I suspect the software could only see the analogue TV card, which I run from different software)
After a LOT of chasing up blind alleys, I have discovered that if I unplug the stick and plug it back in again, all is well until next power-up. At first I thought it was rubbish contacts but logic seems to suggest that it is not being recognised/activated at bootup (XP).
Any ideas?

Not sure, but I had a stick that used to install itself on every insertion(!) under XP 64 bit (and was not recognised if left plugged in), never did find out why, was OK on home edition etc on other PCs
